Bethel Highlands Preschool is seeking the ideal candidate to lead our successful preschool. The Director/Administrator of Bethel Highlands Preschool (BHP) manages the daily operations of the preschool program. This position is responsible for the management of teaching and office staff, program budget, enrollment, curriculum, program content, licensing regulations, and more as detailed in the position description.
All of our teachers come with experience and education that is far beyond the licensing standards. We are proud of each and every staff person here, and together provide diverse styles, gifts, and ideas.
Our teachers are all required to have criminal background checks and references prior to hire. Every teacher is certified in CPR, and required to participate in several hours of continuing education each year.
The creativity and uniqueness of each teacher is supported and encouraged as they design their own lesson plans within the parameters of our curriculum options (see curriculum link below). The teaching team is able to share resources, make suggestions, and tailor the classroom experience for the specific group needs.
We place a priority on our staffing at Bethel Highlands Preschool, and work very hard to ensure teacher job-satisfaction. We have low turnover in staffing. We know that consistency in our teaching staff results in secure children. And when children feel secure, they learn better!
